DIY Necklace Holder

 ♥Isn't this adorable!? Simple, DIY necklace holder that I love! Wanna know how to do it? Just keep reading!
What you need:

• Canvas (I got my 14x18 inch canvas at Michaels for $7.99)
• Pretty scrapbook paper
• Black Paint or a giant sharpie
• Clear thumb tacks/push pins (whatever you call them!)
• Buttons that go with the colors you are using.
• Mod Podge
• Hot Glue and hot glue gun

•  First, using mod podge, glue pretty scrapbook (I used antiqued music notes) paper all over a canvas.
• Once that dries, cover the entire thing with another coat of the modpodge. Wait for it to completely dry!
• Next, using paint or a giant sharpie like I did, draw a tree on  the front of the canvas. Wait for that to dry.

•  For the thumb tacks/push pins, Glue buttons on the end. The ones I would put in the tree got black buttons while all the others had a frosted beige color.
• Space the tacks out far and high enough for your necklaces to hang without overlapping or becoming a tangled mess.

•  Be sure to reinforce the tacks by hot gluing the backside of them like I did.

11. What is the funniest joke you have heard?

A rope walks into a gas station and says to the clerk, "sir, can I have a root beer"

The clerk says, "I can't serve root beers to ropes"

So the rope walks out, ties himself into a knot and rubs the top reeallyy hard. He walks back in and asks for a root beer. The clerk says, "weren't you just that rope?" And the rope says, "I'm a frayed knot!" GET IT!?? Hilarious!

Baseball lace bracelet

I saw this bracelet on a website and decided to try it! I think it turned out really cute and it's fairly simple and low cost to make.The best part is, each baseball makes two! All you need to do is take a craft knife or an X-acto knife and cut along the lacing of the baseball or softball. Then using a little elbow grease, pull it right off. Cut the lace ring in half, then in half again. Just use one of the two pieces for the rest of this. Undo the lacing about two to three inches (or however much needed to wrap nicely around your wrist) on both ends and cut off the extra leather. Last, tie it around your wrist :). For mine, I attached a clasp on the ends so I wouldn't have to tie/untie over and over again. Happy crafting!

Cutest candles!

Happy Saturday! So I made this a lllooooonnnnnggg time ago but decided I'd share it :-). So all I did was get a $0.99 mini glass candle holder thing from Michael's. Then I filled the bottom with crushed shells and placed a pretty tea light candle on top. For the flower I just used some hemp I had around the candle and glued on the flower with hot glue. Happy crafting!
